As Lead Consultant, we developed the Liberia Flood Alert Anticipatory Plan and facilitated national and community-level workshops for validation and training. The assignment included designing the anticipatory action framework, developing forecast-based triggers, and conducting capacity-building sessions for Community Reporters, Volunteer First Responders, and the Technical Core Team. The plan enhances Liberia’s ability to activate early actions before flood impacts occur, strengthening community resilience and national preparedness.
